Fran Rizer’s sixth Callie Parrish mystery, A Corpse under the Christmas Tree, arrives just in time for her birthday, December 12, and the holiday season.
Callie, a mortuary cosmetician, and her best friend Jane find Santa Claus’ body under their tree, then Callie is deputized to assist with the investigation.
Fran began writing fiction after a twenty-five year teaching career. She also has written magazine articles and songs.
She thought her books were cozies, but her first publisher marketed them as traditional. Fran uses “cozyesque” to describe Callie’s world. Best wishes for continued success to a wonderful writer and friend!
