Practice, Practice, Practice

I’m so grateful for the diligent work of the cast of The Living Last Supper. We began rehearsals in January. Twice weekly, we gathered to practice bringing DaVinci's painting of Jesus with his disciples to life. Many of the actors have performed the same roles three or four times. Over the years, they have studied and learned all they could about their parts.

Our costumer, Edith Varn, has created beautiful outfits to match the artist’s rendition and enhance the portrayals. Describing the events in Jerusalem are female followers Joanna (Brenda Byrd), Susanna (Valerie Ward), and Mary Magdalene (Nancy Jane Stock).
